CAILIN!

Right now I am thinking about Caitlin Prain. We've only been friends for like a year, but a lot has happened in that year. I can't wait until tomorrow because she is going to come over and watch Dane Cook Vicious Circle at my house. We love Dane Cook and quote him at least once a day. But anyways, I love Caitlin and that's why she is on my mind. :)

Goals for the Semester.

My goal for the end of the semester is to have at least a 2.5 GPA. I need a 2.5 because in the summer I want to go to UW Oshkosh for a college preview type thing. I've had a rough semester but it is getting better. I think that next semester will be a lot better. next semester I want to do better and get all my homework in on time.

My Christmas Vacation

My vacation was pretty decent. Last week on Wednesday i went with my boyfriend to see him get his tattoo done. When we got there we had to wait like an hour until he actually got in the chair. Then it took about another hour for him to get it done. It looks pretty good though. On New Year's Eve i went with my boyfriend to his grandparents house and i got to meet his family. It was weird at first but it was really fun.

Collage of everest.

I made a collage to represent the tone of the essay we read, Everest.

The pictures in the collage represent success, perserverance, and accomplishment, which i think were some of the tones in the story. I also thought the story had tones of teamwork and patience.

i hate insects :(

I am not fascinated by either species. All spiders creep me out. Tarantulas give some people the creeps because of their large, hairy bodies and legs. The South American bird-eating spider, as it name suggests, is even able to prey upon small birds. Wasps also creep me out. Such a wasp will paralyze a tarantula with its sting and lay its eggs on the spider's body.

Erik Weihenmayer is an inspiration.

I think that Erik Weihenmayer is an inspiration. I think this because he is the first blind man that climbed Mount Everest. Although people think that it shouldn't matter whether he was blind or not, it does matter. He showed the world that you can do anything you want as long as you have the courage and perserverance. I'm sure he was scared at first but he stuck through it to prove to people that he could. This is what makes him an inspiration.

Digital footprint!

A positive digital footprint is all about what others see you as if they search you on the Internet. Having a positive digital footprint is important because possible future employers might look you up on the Internet before they hire you. If they see pictures of you drinking underage, or doing anything else illegal, the chances are you aren't getting hired.

I don't think that it matters if you use your real picture on websites and blogs as long as it is appropriate. I also think that people should use their real names only on certain sites. Usually, people only need their first names, unless they are older and are on a professional site.

I think our parents are responsible for teaching us how to be internet savvy. Also, if our teachers are letting us use the internet for blogging and emailing they should make sure we know what to do and how to be safe online.

When registering on a website, somebody should only include basic information. On most sites there is no need whatsoever for an address, phone number, or last name.

Online I can be found here on Blogger and also on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Yahoo, AIM, and Epals.
